Information we handle
Information you provide
When you submit the request-for-quote form, we may receive your name, company, business email, destination country or port, product interest, estimated quantity, message, the page where the enquiry was made, and an enquiry reference. If you contact us by email, we also receive the information contained in that correspondence.
Security and request information
The enquiry service processes an internet protocol address to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. The enquiry record and a limited rate-control record may include that address. Standard server and infrastructure logs may also process request time, requested page, browser or device information, and security signals.
First-party cookieless analytics
Some public pages send one first-party page-view event to our own analytics endpoint. It can record the page path, external referring host, country code supplied by the network edge, device category, browser family, bot classification, time, and a short salted visitor identifier that changes daily. The analytics table does not store a raw IP address or raw user-agent string.
Why we use this information
- To assess, respond to, and keep a record of commercial enquiries.
- To prepare information requested about products, packing, documents, and shipping routes.
- To protect the website, limit automated abuse, and investigate operational problems.
- To understand aggregate website use and improve content and navigation.
- To comply with applicable legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public website does not currently use non-essential advertising or behavioural-analytics cookies. A cookie-consent banner is therefore not shown for those purposes. Essential cookies or comparable security technologies may be set by the hosting and security infrastructure when needed to protect or deliver the site.
If non-essential analytics, advertising pixels, or other tracking technologies are introduced, this policy and the consent experience will be updated where required.
Service providers and data location
Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the website, database, email, network security, and content delivery. The site currently uses Cloudflare infrastructure for domain, delivery, and security services and requests web-font files from Google-hosted font services. These providers may process network and technical data under their own terms.
Because online services can use infrastructure in more than one country, information may be processed outside your country of residence. We use providers and safeguards appropriate to the service being supplied.
Retention
Enquiry information is retained while we evaluate and respond to a request and for as long as reasonably necessary for business records, security, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations. Security and analytics records are retained only for operational protection and aggregate measurement. You may ask whether we still hold your enquiry and request deletion, subject to records we must lawfully keep.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers acting on our behalf, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or logistics and commercial providers when necessary to progress an enquiry and when you would reasonably expect that involvement. We do not disclose enquiry data to unrelated parties for their independent advertising.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a privacy request. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal, or record-keeping reasons.
Security
We use access controls, server-side validation, request limits, and other technical and organisational measures intended to protect website information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information through the enquiry form.
