How to use this library

Start with the country where the cocopeat will be used, not only the port where a container might arrive. Each guide helps connect the buyer’s application and incoming-material requirements with destination planning. A listing is a planning resource, not confirmation of prior shipments, current freight service, stock, or import permission.

Country buyer briefs by region

Select a region, then open the country guide. The delivery focus highlights questions to raise with your forwarder; it does not prescribe an available carrier service or a fixed transit time.

Connect the destination to the product specification

The same destination may receive cocopeat for different operating systems. A propagation nursery and a substrate blender should not automatically use the same acceptance criteria. Start with the two active 5kg block grades, then document the required EC and pH methods, moisture, weight, dimensions, particles, hydration, and packing. Published product values are reference points; final requirements belong in the quotation and order specification.

For Low EC, review the published EC below 0.6 mS/cm and listed MOQ of 10 MT with the supplier. For High EC, review EC above 0.7 mS/cm and identify any downstream washing, conditioning, or blending responsibility. Neither grade label alone establishes suitability for a crop or a finished growing mix. Use the technical buyer resources to define sampling, test preparation, receiving checks, and the decision to accept or hold a lot.

Agree the delivery and document handovers

Compare freight quotations on the same basis: container and load format, named place, Incoterm, proposed gateway, destination charges, inspection, and final delivery scope. For a landlocked destination, record transit-country and inland responsibilities. For an island destination, clarify transshipment and onward delivery where relevant. For Indonesia, discuss domestic delivery rather than an international import leg.

The importer and broker should verify current commodity classification and entry requirements before booking. Review the document planning framework and MOQ and shipping terms, then request confirmation of the records available for your order. A general guide or sample result does not replace a shipment-specific document or guarantee acceptance by an authority.

Build a complete RFQ

1. Product: Low EC or High EC 5kg blocks, intended use, test methods, limits, and sample or trial needs.
2. Quantity and packing: requested volume, wrapping, pallet or floor loading, label fields, and warehouse constraints.
3. Destination: country, final city, proposed gateway, importer, broker, and delivery term with its named place.
4. Documents and acceptance: required records, lot identification, receiving checks, and the person authorized to approve the material.
5. Timing: target receiving window and any points that still require supplier or forwarder confirmation.
